Sports betting enthusiasts place many parlays every week on NFL action, but they don’t pay off as often as single wagers – that’s why they offer the excitement of bigger odds. This past weekend, though, one of the biggest parlay payouts hit when the Houston Texans came back to beat the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. A Florida bettor put down $500,000 on a four-leg parlay and walked away with $5.5 million. His legs were: Houston to win, the Houston-Cincinnati game to go over 44.5 points, Houston tailback to gain more than 51.5 yards and to score a touchdown. All four hit – and he got a huge check. Looking at the NFL standings after Week 10, let’s consider some of the top Super Bowl Matchups that the playoffs could produce.
NFL Top Super Bowl Matchups Based on Today’s Standings
Philadelphia Eagles vs Kansas City Chiefs
This would be a rematch of last year’s title game; the last time we got a rematch, the year was 1994, and the Buffalo Bills were in the middle of a string of four straight Super Bowl losses, and the Dallas Cowboys were starting their string of three wins in four seasons. It’s a real grind just to get to a conference championship, and both the Cowboys and Bills had teams that were far and away the best in their conference. The Kansas City Chiefs have the best quarterback in the game, and their offensive line is holding up. Their defense is better than it was last year, and with the other AFC contenders faltering, it’s hard to see anyone getting past the Chiefs. The Eagles are the only one-loss team left in the NFL this season, and their only real question is the health of Jalen Hurts, who clearly has a knee issue. The Eagles come out of their bye this week to start a four-game gauntlet that ends with a date in Dallas, and Hurts’ health will dictate how far this team goes.

Cleveland Browns vs Detroit Lions
Neither of these teams has appeared in a Super Bowl. The Browns last won a title in 1964. They haven’t been to the AFC Championship since 1990. They went to that game three times in four years, losing to Denver each time. The Lions last won a title in 1957. They have been to one NFC Championship, back in 1992, when Washington routed them by 31. The Browns have some work to do, sitting at 6-3, but Deshaun Watson seems to have found his groove at quarterback. He went 14 of 14 after halftime in Baltimore on Sunday, bringing his team back from a 31-17 deficit to win, 33-31. He also played well in a rout of Arizona the week before. If Watson can play at, or even near, the level the Browns expected when they signed him, the defense and the running game are already elite. The Lions are playing at an elite level, with a 7-2 record. They also won on Sunday on a last-second field goal, edging the Chargers on the road, 41-38. Jared Goff is playing the best quarterback of his career, and the running game that features David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs provides nice balance.

San Francisco 49ers vs Baltimore Ravens
This would be a rematch of the Power Failure game in New Orleans. The Ravens won that time around, as John Harbaugh outcoached his brother Jim, who led the 49ers at the time. Brock Purdy found his mojo this past week down in Jacksonville, as what looked to many (including me) like a Jaguars upset turned into a rout. The 49ers’ offense was clicking again, and the defense simply smothered Trevor Lawrence. If the 49ers can keep this type of football going, they will steamroll Philadelphia (and any other NFC foes) on the way to a Super Bowl berth. The Ravens have a stout defense, although they have a penchant for collapsing in key games – as they did against Cleveland.
