The Baltimore Ravens and the Kansas City Chiefs were tied at the top of the list when it came to most favorable odds to win the Super Bowl, until they met last Monday night at M&T Bank Stadium. The Ravens, as the home team, were the slight favorite, but Kansas City delivered an emphatic victory to separate themselves from the Ravens. Given the difficulty of repeating as Super Bowl champions, though, it’s hard to argue that the Chiefs offer enough value. We have the complete and updated list of current odds to take home the next Vince Lombardi Trophy.

Who are your Smart Picks?
Obviously, the Kansas City Chiefs are a team you have to consider, even though repeating as a Super Bowl champ is quite rare. After playing the New England Patriots on Monday night (thanks to a one-day delay for the game after Cam Newton’s COVID-19 diagnosis), the Chiefs will now have three games in 11 days. The Chiefs also had a positive COVID-19 diagnosis in practice squad quarterback Jordan Ta’amu. So even though no other Chiefs have tested positive, it’s a possibility. There’s also the chance of Patrick Mahomes or another key player going down to injury. Even without those contingencies, the Chiefs have started all of their games slowly, with the exception of the win in Baltimore. They escaped with their lives in last year’s playoffs; can they do it again?
The Seattle Seahawks need to answer some questions on defense and have already dealt with a number of injuries. They do lead the NFC West with a two-game lead on San Francisco (who still is rolling with a backup quarterback). Russell Wilson is putting up MVP-level numbers, and the running game is as solid as it has been in years. You have to like Wilson’s chances in a shootout.
The Green Bay Packers are rolling along nicely, but wide receiver Davante Adams has already gone down, and his backup, Allen Lazard, had to have core muscle surgery after the Packers’ Week 4 win. Aaron Rodgers has turned back the clock and is playing lights out so far, operating just under the buzz that has grown around the play of Russell Wilson in Seattle. There are several key injuries on defense, such as linebacker Christian Kirksey and tackle Kenny Clark, and if the injury bug spreads, Rodgers will need to pull off even more magic.
Who is Overrated?
The Dallas Cowboys have snapped the ball on offense exactly seven times with a lead in four games. That’s the fewest snaps with a lead for any of the league’s 32 teams. If it weren’t for that miraculous onside kick against the Falcons, the Cowboys would be 0-4. Dallas’ defense appears to have no idea what their scheme is and no commitment toward maximum effort, as we saw when the Browns averaged over ten yards per carry in the running game and led, 41-14, going into the fourth quarter.
Is there a Sleeper Pick?
The Cleveland Browns got run out of M&T Bank Stadium in Week 1 by an angry Ravens team, but since then they have gotten better and better. They’re playing old-school football, using Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt and the rest of their tailbacks to bash opposing defenses behind a terrific offensive line, and then Baker Mayfield is making terrific throws into tight windows out of the play-action scheme. They’re 3-1 for the first time since 2001, and Mayfield finally looks as confident in a Browns uniform as he did at Oklahoma.
