Last week, the Buccaneers came out of the bye in Washington but got shut down by the Football Team, as Taylor Heinicke was able to lead Washington on a number of sustained drives, and two early Tom Brady interceptions let Washington take a lead that it would not relinquish.

You’ll want to check the latest injury reports for the status of Saquon Barkley. Devontae Booker has definitely turned back the clock while filling in at tailback, but he’s no Barkley. Also, the Giants’ wide receivers are all dealing with varying degrees of injury, which makes things tougher on Daniel Jones. He has struggled with ball security, with fumbles and interceptions costing the Giants at key times.

On the offensive side of the ball, Tom Brady has to be better with ball security. He has turned over the ball five times in the team’s last two games. His two picks against Washington allowed the Football Team to jump out to an early lead. Brady was able to bring the team back to 23-19 early in the fourth quarter, but then the fatigued defense could not get Washington off the field. Chris Godwin was playing hurt, and both Antonio Brown and Rob Gronkowski were out, so Brady had fewer options than usual.
