NFL Week 12 Parlay Picks

Pittsburgh (-9) at Indianapolis, Thursday, November 24, 8:30 PM ET

NFL Pick: Pittsburgh (-9)

Andrew Luck has been the heart-and- soul of the Colts and, without him; the team would be nowhere close to the current 5-5 record. With Luck ruled out of the Thanksgiving Day clash against the Steelers due to a concussion, you can rightfully expect the Colts to struggle in the offense, as they’ve done in nearly every game without the franchise QB. Per reports, backup QB Scott Tolzien—an import from the Packers whose only two starts came in 2013 where he went 1-1 and completed 60.8 percent of his passes for 218.5 yards, zero touchdowns and three interceptions—will be given the starting role this week. And suggested by his numbers, it should be a pretty easy job for Pittsburgh’s defense while Ben Roethlisberger and his loaded offense—Antonio Brown, Le’Veon Bell and Company—takes full advantage of the weak Indy defense in a game that has a blowout written all over it. You looking for a sure SU and ATS Week 12 NFL pick? Look no further than the Steelers, who have own a remarkable 13-2 record in their last 15 overall games against the Colts, including victories in their last two trips to Indianapolis.

Tennessee at Chicago, Sunday, November 27, 1:00 PM ET

NFL Pick: Tennessee (-4.5)

There’s really nothing to smile about in the Windy City these days. Last week, it seemed as if Chicago fans would celebrate their third win of the season, as Jay Cutlers and the Bears jumped to a 16-6 lead over the Giants in New York. But like they’ve done so many times over the past seasons, the Bears couldn’t sustain momentum, allowing 16 unanswered points to eventually lose 22-16, their eighth loss of the season. And with Marcus Mariota and the surging Titans coming to town, it doesn’t look like things will be getting easier. For starters, Marcus Mariota, DeMarco Murray and the Tennessee offense have been putting on a show this season with 25.5 PPG scoring (eighth-best in the NFL); something that looks to work in their favor against the Bears who rank second-last in the NFL in scoring (15.7 PPG) and are the lone team in the league to have not scored 24 points in a game this season. Making matters worse, the Chicago roster is littered with injuries. Backup QB Brian Hoyer (arm) and pass-catchers Kevin White (ankle)and Zach Miller (foot) are all out, and the latest team report from Chicago indicated that Cutler, RB Jeremy Langford (ill), WR Eddie Royal (toe), Leonard Floyd (concussion), ), LG Josh Sitton (ankle), Deiondre Hall (ankle) and Cre’Von LeBlanc all sat out of Wednesday’s practice. Then, of course, Alshon Jeffery is suspended. With all that considered, the value in this game should thus be on the healthy Titans, who’ve actually been playing well enough (by most standards) on both sides of the ball this season.

Los Angeles at New Orleans, Sunday, November 27, 1:00 PM ET

NFL Pick: New Orleans (-7)

The LA hype train is packed to capacity hoping for Jared Goff to pull off a Thanksgiving miracle over the Saints. And going by New Orleans’ recent back luck of heartbreaking losses (25-23 defeat vs. Broncos after a botched extra-point attempt was returned for a 2-point safety by Denver, 23-20 loss at Carolina despite a furious fourth-quarter rally by the Saints), there’s definitely a case to be made in the Rams favor, especially with Goff fancying his chances of hurling the ball downfield with better weather conditions than in his first career start against the Dolphins. But here’s the thing; with just a bit of some protection from his O-line and an average input from his D-line, Drew Brees is totally unplayable. Whatever Goff can do, Brees can do ten times better. And after recently playing well against stingy defenses like Denver (where he went 21-of- 29 for 303 yards and 3 TDs) and Seattle (where he went 27-of- 35 for 265 yards and 1 TD and also added a rushing score to lead the Saints to a 25-20 victory), you have every reason to believe that Brees and the extra-rested Saints (5-1- 1 ATS in their last 7 games) will be firing on all cylinders for a big win over the inexperienced Goff and his disarrayed Rams (1-4- 1 ATS in their last 6 games).
