In the AFC, if you had wagered that Las Vegas and Denver would be the only two teams with perfect 2-0 records, and that Cincinnati would be tied for first in the AFC North, you would have made a lot of money. The NFC is a little more true to form, as the Rams are 2-0 — but so are the 49ers and the Cardinals. Also, Tampa Bay is unbeaten — but so is Carolina.

NFL News: Week 3 Must-Bet Games
Kansas City Chiefs (-6.5) over L.A. Chargers
The Chargers just saw Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard combine to run for 237 yards against them in Week 2. Dak Prescott was able to sit in the pocket for extended periods of time. Dallas was able to get this kind of O-line performance without starting right tackle La’el Collins. Next up is a trip to Arrowhead Stadium, and the Chiefs are scoring 34 points per game. Patrick Mahomes is throwing three touchdown passes per contest. Yes, the Chiefs just lost to Baltimore, but the Chargers don’t (yet) have the tools on offense to do what Baltimore did to win that game. Mahomes is 4-1 against the Chargers in his career; he is 18-4 at home, with 56 touchdown passes in those games. He has never thrown an interception in September as an NFL quarterback. All of which goes to say…Chiefs to win and cover.
Minnesota (+2) over Seattle
I would have put down a lot of money on Seattle in this game until the midpoint of the fourth quarter, until their two-touchdown lead over Tennessee turned into a collapse and an overtime loss. Derrick Henry was able to gash the Seattle defense, and Minnesota has someone who can do the same thing in Dalvin Cook. Cook ran for 148 yards in a track-meet loss to Arizona. Can the Vikings be the team to get the break this week? Once Seattle takes an ugly loss like this one, it usually takes them a couple of weeks to bounce back. Russell Wilson is occasionally phenomenal on the road, but in his career he is only 16 games over .500 outside Seattle. Vikings to cover.
Arizona (-7) over Jacksonville
This is an Eastern time zone game for a Pacific time zone team…in the early slot. So things should start slowly for the Cardinals, but then they should get rolling. They are scoring 36 points per game, and Kyler Murray has posted 740 yards and nine touchdowns all by himself. On the other side of the field, Trevor Lawrence has thrown four gorgeous touchdown passes…along with five interceptions and has just posted a 50 percent completion rate. The O-line is terrible, so we can’t blaem Lawrence for everything, but this will be another rout. Arizona to win and cover.
Philadelphia (+4.5) over Dallas
The Cowboys’ defense was decent against the Chargers in Week 2, but the Dallas offense kept sputtering in the red zone, and time management issues at the end of both halves ended up costing Dallas points. Philadelphia has a solid quarterback in Jalen Hurts, and this is the sort of rivalry game that will end up in the hands of the last team with the ball. With a line this size, I like Philadelphia to cover.
