NFL Parlay Picks for Week 7: The rookie campaign of Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson will likely end after just four starts. He had to miss one start due to the concussion protocol, only to return in Week 5 and sprain the AC joint in his right (throwing) shoulder against Tennessee. After taking some time to get several medical opinions, it sounds like Richardson and the team will opt for season-ending surgery. As the weekend approaches, don’t miss our NFL betting parlay picks from the slate.
Backup quarterback Gardner Minshew led the Colts last week in their 37-20 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, and the team is now 3-3 ahead of a date with Cleveland in Week 7.

Thursday Night Football: Jacksonville Jaguars at New Orleans Saints
When: TNF, October 19 at 8:15 pm ET
Where: Caesars Superdome, New Orleans, LA
TV / Streaming: Prime Video
The New Orleans Saints went to New England and walloped the Patriots, 34-0, but then they only managed 13 points in a seven-point loss at Houston last week. Quarterback Derek Carr got in an animated conversation with his offensive coordinator during the loss to the Texans, as the passing game is stalling with two much regularity. Jacksonville has prospered in the early going thanks to their running game and defense, which takes all the pressure off Trevor Lawrence, freeing him up to excel. Offenses tend to struggle on Thursday night games, perhaps due to lingering fatigue from the week before and perhaps due to reduced opportunities to plan for the new opponent. We saw both Patrick Mahomes and Russell wilson struggle on offense last Thursday, and we could easily see another defensive struggle this week. Jacksonville should prevail, even if the process is a slow one.

Sunday Night Football: Miami Dolphins at Philadelphia Eagles
When: SNF, October 22 at 8:20 pm ET
Where: Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia, PA
TV / Streaming: NBC
Philadelphia just lost to the N.Y. Jets for the first time ever on Sunday. That’s right – they’ve both been in the NFL for 50 years, but they had only played 12 times, and the Jets finally knocked off the Eagles – with Zach Wilson at quarterback. Jalen Hurts had three interceptions as the Eagles struggled to move the ball for the first time all year. Miami comes in with an offense that has seemed unstoppable against everyone but Buffalo, as Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill have terrific chemistry. However, the Dolphins depend on a running game that the Eagles should be able to bottle up, and the Eagles have DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown spoiling to tear up a secondary. Plus, you know that Jalen Hurts wants to outduel Tua after Tua replaced him at halftime of a national championship game in college and led Alabama to a comeback win.

Monday Night Football: San Francisco 49ers at Minnesota Vikings
When: MNF, October 23 at 8:15 pm ET
Where: U.S. Bank Stadium, Minneapolis, MN
TV / Streaming: ABC/ESPN
On Monday, even if Deebo Samuel and Trent Williams are back for the 49ers, they won’t be at 100%, and Christian McCaffrey (rib/oblique) is not expected to return at all. In case you don’t remember, the 49ers’ offense was a lot more limited before the team brought McCaffrey in from Carolina via trade last season. Losing McCaffrey for an extended time could be a problem, especially if Samuel can’t take up some of the slack coming out of the backfield. They visit a Minnesota team that is having a hard time moving the ball on the ground and getting consistent defense, so they should bounce back from their loss to Cleveland, but it may not happen as emphatically as it would with a full starting offense.
