Tampa Bay just saw the Florida Panthers slip past them into first place in the Atlantic Division. The Devils posted an impressive 2-1 home win over the Boston Bruins on Tuesday, and losing by one at Florida, the Atlantic Division leaders, isn’t shabby by any means. However, the Devils will need to pour on the offense if they want to have a chance in Tampa. They are good on the power play (#8, 20.7%), so if they can draw an early penalty or two, they should be able to get some solid chances at the back of the net. The Lightning are at a point where they could crumble and head back down the standings or keep pace with Florida.
