NHL Betting Analysis and Match Preview
The Vancouver Canucks are clinging to the 2nd spot in the Pacific Division, and doing a good job of holding off the surging Flames and Kings. The way things are going right now, it looks as though only 3 team may come out of that division, meaning that any kind of slip up by those three could leave them on the outside looking in. Vancouver are definitely handling the pressure very well, having won 3 in a row while going 7-2-1 in their last 10. The most impressive o those wins may have been on their last outing, where they thumped the Winnipeg Jets, who are one of the hottest teams in the league right now. Calgary and LA have been just as impressive, though, so the Canucks are well aware that now is not the time to let up, despite holding a 4 point lead over the chasing pack.#Canucks reassign @Clenny5 to @UticaComets. Their next match-up comes against a Colorado Avalanche team who are going to miss the playoffs this season, but who still have the potential to have an impact on who gets in and who doesn’t. While they may be sitting at the bottom of the Central Division, the Avs are still 6 games over .500 on the year, and have gone 6-3-1 in their last 10. This is a team that you ignore at your own peril, which I’m sure the Canucks are very well aware of. The game on Thursday night will be the final leg of a 5-game road trip that has not been overly successful. Colorado will play in Edmonton on Wednesday before completing the road trip in Vancouver. That is something that may well play into the favor of the Canucks.
