With two matches remaining in the 2019-20 Bundesliga season, Bayern Munich has clinched their eighth consecutive league title, as they lead second-place Borussia Dortmund (who just lost to Mainz 05, a team that was scratching and clawing to avoid relegation, by ten points. SC Freiburg is safe from relegation and sits in eighth place. However, they are just a point behind Wolfsburg, the sixth-place team, and if they could catch Wolfsburg they would automatically qualify for a UEFA Europa League slot for 2020-2021. If they could move into seventh, they would enter a playoff for qualification into the league. So Freiburg comes to Munich with slightly more motivation than the hosts. Take a look at our sports betting thoughts on this Saturday affair as the Bundesliga season starts to wind down. Let’s see how the Bundesliga Odds will be for the Bayern vs Freiburg.

Why should you put your money on Freiburg?
Freiburg escaped a scare on Tuesday as Hertha Berlin came to town. The match went well into the second half before the scoring started, and Freiburg got the first goal when Vincenzo Grifo tallied in the 61st minute. However, Hertha drew level just five minutes later, as Vedad Ibisevic converted from the penalty spot. Freiburg took control again when Nils Petersen found the back of the net in the 71st minute, and Freiburg held on for the 2-1 win.
Possession was virtually split between the two teams, and the offense was limited. Freiburg outshot Hertha 8-6 (6-4 on target), and it was Hertha who took the game to Freiburg in terms of physicality, leading in fouls, 16-6, and in yellow cards, 2-0. Both teams forced five corner kicks. If you like Freiburg on Saturday, then you see them entering with a lot more energy than Bayern because they still have a shot at a Europa League slot, and you see that energy paying off more readily than it did against Hertha.
Why should you bet on Bayern?
Bayern Munich clinched their eighth consecutive Bundesliga title on the strength of their win over Bremen Werder on Tuesday and Borussia Dortmund’s loss to Mainz. However, Bayern struggled to put away Werder — and Werder is a team that is set for relegation to the Bundesliga’s second division. Bayern got a goal from Robert Lewandowski in the 43rd minute and held on for a 1-0 win. However, Alphonso Davies was shown a red card in the 79th minute and will miss the match against Freiburg.
Bayern possessed for 60 percent of the match and outshot the hosts, 9-6 (3-2 on target). The match was not all that physical, as the teams combined for just 22 fouls, but there were four yellow cards issued (two per team) and that aforementioned red card. Bayern applied plenty of pressure, forcing 10 corner kicks, but the team struggled to generate quality chances, against one of the bottom teams in the Bundesliga table. Now that Bayern has clinched its league title, how much effort will they put forth, especially with preparation for the remainder of the UEFA Champions League tournament on their minds?
Bayern vs Freiburg Final Score Prediction
Now that Bayern has clinched a league title, I’m not sure that I see them coming out with a ton of energy on Saturday. They have faced a slate of two matches per week since the Bundesliga restarted, and that fatigue might well play a factor. Freiburg has a lot more to play for in terms of Europa League qualification, and they do come in off a win in their last match. I am not sure that Freiburg can come away from Munich with three points, but I’m going to take advantage of the added value that comes with that draw wager. I predict a final score of Freiburg 1, Bayern 1.
