Why should you bet on Alaves?
Alaves looked awfully stale in a 1-0 loss at 13th-place Valladolid on Saturday. Neither team showed a lot of interest in offense, as it looked like both sides were fine with a languid scoreless draw. However, Valladolid ended up swiping all three points when Joaquin Fernandez Moreno knocked in a goal in the 88th minute and the hosts then held on for the victory.

The majority of the match showed little energy on both offense and defense, as Real Madrid looked like they thought that, by simply showing up, they would waltz out with three points.

However, I also see Real Madrid waking up a bit from that offensive nap they took against Athletic. I predict a final score of Real Madrid 3, Alaves 1.
