UEFA Nations League for 2024-25 has just begun group play, with Matchday 1 set for September 5 and 6 and Matchday 2 set for Sunday through Tuesday.
In its current format, the competition divides the national teams up according to quality into four leagues.
Leagues A, B and C each have 16 teams, and League D has six teams. Each year, relegation and promotion take place to shift teams among the various leagues.
