In recent years, Arena Football League has caught the attention of gamblers and sportsbetting sites around the world, and the truth is that it offers bettors an additional chance to engage in some alternative action.

How to Bet on Arena Football Lines

Moneyline Betting

Same as NFL or College Football, players can bet on the outcome of the game: the only thing that matters is who wins and who loses. For example, the Orlando Predators are listed at -180 against the Arizona Rattlers (+220). That means that Orlando is the favorite and you would have to bet $180 to win $100 on them. Contrarily, when you bet on the Rattlers, you get the amount listed next to the plus sign if you win. So in this case, you would win $220 on a $100 bet for Arizona if they win the game.

Spreads

In equal fashion as other sports, you can bet on a team to cover the margin of victory of a matchup, so if you bet on a team listed as -7.5 points favorite, then that means that your pick has to win by more 7.5 points (eight or more) in order to win their bet. On the opposite side, if the dog is listed as +7.5 points to win the bet, it means that they can lose by a margin of 7 points or less and you’ll win the bet.

Game Total

When you’re betting the total, you’re betting on whether the combined score of a game will go over or under a number set by the sportsbook. Let’s say the total of a game is 75.5, so all you need to do is to predict if the combined final score will go over or the under the stated total.
